HercLéon develops antimicrobial shirt designed for 30 days of wear
The American sustainable clothing brand HercLéon has introduced the HercShirt V5.0, which the company claims can be worn for over 30 days without washing. The garment utilizes antimicrobial materials such as copper, zinc, silver, gold, and volcanic ash integrated directly into the fabric fibers to manage odors and moisture. A crowdfunding campaign for the product successfully raised more than $275,000.
In separate laundry technology developments, a three-compartment washing machine from the Chinese brand Leader, part of the Haier Group, has gained social media attention. The machine features a 10.5 kg main drum alongside two 1 kg compartments, allowing users to wash different types of clothing, such as delicates or underwear, simultaneously without contact. Xiaomi also offers a similar three-zone washing model.
