Hercules Group donates land for new school in Chalkida

The 26th Primary School of Chalkida has been officially inaugurated in Greece. The school was constructed on a 4,359.36 square meter plot of land provided free of charge by the Hercules Group, a member of Holcim, to the Municipality of Chalkida.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by representatives of the state, local government, the educational community, and the Hercules Group, alongside parents and students. The new facility is scheduled to welcome its first students at the start of the 2026-2027 school year.

Eleni S. Vaka, the Mayor of Chalkida, and Evi Ioannidou, Communications Director of the Hercules Group, highlighted the project as a successful collaboration between the private sector and local government to provide modern, safe, and functional educational spaces for the next generation.
