Herencia Viva program seeks skilled workers for employment in Spain
The Herencia Viva program, an initiative by the Association of Descendants of Spaniards in the World (ADEM), is seeking skilled workers to relocate to Spain. The current call for applications targets electricians, welders, masons, and refrigeration technicians, with initial placements planned for Valladolid.
Under the program, successful candidates may receive flight tickets, one month of accommodation, and a permanent employment contract. To be eligible, applicants must possess a Spanish passport or a residence visa, demonstrate professional experience, and provide relevant training certifications. While the current focus is on four specific trades, ADEM president Estela Marina Pérez noted that other professionals with Spanish documentation may submit their details for future compatible opportunities.
The Herencia Viva program aims to connect descendants of Spaniards living in Cuba with professional and settlement opportunities in Spain, following the increase in new Spanish citizenship through the Democratic Memory Law.
