Herentals-Tielen trail run features new marathon distance

The 43rd edition of the Herentals-Tielen trail run took place in the Kempen region, featuring a course through natural landscapes such as the Kempense Heuvelrug and the heathlands. This year, the event expanded its offerings to include a marathon, a newly introduced half marathon, and traditional 12 and 16 kilometer distances.

Laurent Bierincks from Geel secured first place in the men's category, navigating a challenging course that included the steep Skiberg. Janis Willem was the first woman to cross the finish line.
