Herforder Eishockey Verein wins first Oberliga Nord game

The Herforder Eishockey Verein (HEV) secured its first seasonal victory in the Oberliga Nord with a 3-1 away win against the Icefighters Leipzig. Despite missing players due to injury and suspension, the Ice Dragons delivered a strong defensive performance.

Jackson Pierson was named ‘Man of the Match’ after being involved in all three of Herford's goals. After an early lead by Pierson and a subsequent equalizer by Leipzig's Samuel Mantsch, Herford regained control to secure the three points.
