Heritage conservation initiatives held in Poland

In Chorzów, the municipal monument conservator is hosting a special consultation session titled ‘Hour for the Monument’ on November 3, 2026. Held at the Starochorzowski House of Culture, the event allows property owners and those planning renovations to discuss conservation rules and investment plans directly with officials before starting projects.

Separately, the III Monument Protection Congress 2026, themed ‘Heritage of the Cities and Towns of Mazovia,’ took place in Góra Kalwaria and Konstancin-Jeziorna. Organized by the Mazovian Voivodeship Monument Conservator, the event drew over 150 participants and 40 speakers. The congress focused on urban planning, revitalization, and the economic aspects of heritage protection, highlighting a growing social awareness of cultural heritage as a driver for local development.
