Heritage Expeditions unveils seven new expedition cruises for 2027‑28 season

Heritage Expeditions announced seven new itineraries for its 2027‑28 season, covering routes in Europe, the British Isles, Iceland, the High Arctic and Antarctica. The programmes will be sailed on the newly‑launched Heritage Discoverer, the former Silver Explorer, marking a milestone for the New Zealand‑based family cruise operator.

The launch includes a 20 % discount on all berths and an extra 10 % discount for returning guests who book by 31 August 2026. Planned voyages feature the Atlantic Shores Odyssey (Lisbon to Portsmouth, 2‑13 May 2027), a British Isles expedition (Portsmouth to Glasgow, 12‑22 May), a Scotland‑Faroe‑Iceland cruise (22‑35 May), Iceland’s Fire & Ice circumnavigation (2‑13 June), a Svalbard‑Greenland‑Iceland trek (21‑35 July), Antarctic Peninsula trips (Nov 2027‑Jan 2028) and a flagship South Georgia, Falklands and Antarctic Peninsula cruise (2 Nov and 21 Dec 2027).

Company co‑owners Aaron Russ and Nathan Russ said the new ship and itineraries represent “the beginning of a new era” and an evolution of Heritage Expeditions’ legacy of small‑ship, responsible expedition travel.
