Heritage Vehicle Festivals in Kommern and Schramberg Attract Visitors

The LVR‑Freilichtmuseum in Kommern hosted the "Zeitblende 1976" festival on 15‑16 August, featuring an old‑timer parade of more than 200 historic vehicles, a recreated 1970s camping site, period‑style exhibitions of furniture, toys and fashion, and a children’s programme with crafts and games. Live music was provided by "SuperQueen" and a Boney M tribute.

A week later, the Gewerbepark H.A.U. in Schramberg held the "WirtschaftswunderKlassik" classic‑car event on 30 August. The free‑entry festival showcased historic cars and motorcycles from several decades, offered free shuttle service for visitors, and included music by the band Glennhill, a Kasperletheater for children, and food stalls. The venue is part of the Auto‑ and Uhrenmuseum ErfinderZeiten and the nearby Eisenbahnmuseum Schwarzwald.
