Herkimer County Fair Debuts Miniature Highland Cow Snuggle Attraction

The Herkimer County Fair in Central New York runs from August 18 to August 23 and this year adds a new "Snuggle" attraction. Visitors can meet Miss Bernadette Petunia, a miniature Highland cow, and spend time with the fluffy animal daily from about 3 p.m. until 9‑10 p.m. The cow is a rare sight in the region, offering a unique photo opportunity for fairgoers.

The fair also features opening‑night fireworks, pageants, demolition derbies, truck and tractor pulls, livestock shows, live entertainment, carnival rides, horse shows, a milking contest, children’s rodeo and other agricultural activities.
