Hermandad Matriz announces conference cycle for El Rocío Jubilee Year

The Hermandad Matriz de Almonte has announced a series of six conferences titled ‘Diálogos con la Fe en el Año Jubilar del Rocío’ (Dialogues with Faith in the Jubilee Year of El Rocío). The program is scheduled to take place between October 2026 and February 2027 at the institution's social headquarters in Almonte.

The cycle aims to provide formative content and reflection during the extraordinary period of the Virgin of El Rocío's stay in Almonte. Participants will include high-ranking religious figures, such as the Bishops of Huelva and Getafe, and the Archbishop of Santiago de Compostela.

Topics will cover various aspects of the Jubilee Year, the life of the Church, the reality of brotherhoods, and the connection between Christian faith and daily life challenges. The sessions will begin on October 2, 2026, with a talk by the Bishop of Huelva, Santiago Gómez Sierra.
