Hermann Trophy preseason watch list features UTSA and Ohio State players

Several NCAA Division I women's soccer players have been named to the 2026 IWSOC/United Soccer Coaches Missouri Athletic Club Hermann Trophy preseason watch list.

UTSA defender Kameron Kloza has become the first player in program history to be included on the overall National Player of the Year watch list. Kloza, a two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree, has been a key component of the UTSA defense, which maintained a 0.87 goals-against average over the past two seasons.

Ohio State midfielder Amanda Schlueter has also earned a spot on the watch list. Schlueter ranks among the top in program history for both goals and assists, having recorded 27 career goals and 24 assists. She was a significant contributor to the Buckeyes' run to the Elite Eight during the 2025 season.
