Hermosillo collects 5,800 school supplies via municipal program

The Hermosillo Municipal Treasury has collected more than 5,800 school supplies through its ‘Dando y Dando’ program. These donations, which include backpacks, notebooks, pencils, and calculators, were delivered to DIF Hermosillo to support children and adolescents in vulnerable neighborhoods for the upcoming school year.

Under the program, taxpayers who donated supplies received significant discounts on municipal payments, such as a 100% reduction in surcharges and fines for property tax (predial) arrears, and a 50% discount on the base amount and 100% on surcharges for traffic and administrative fines.
