Tucumán Governor meets construction leaders to discuss public works

Governor Osvaldo Jaldo met with representatives from the Tucumán Chamber of Construction and the Union of Construction Workers of the Argentine Republic (UOCRA) to discuss the progress of public works and employment in the province.

Key projects under discussion include the Tucumán Airport, Procrear housing developments, and various national and provincial road interventions. Jorge Garber, president of the Chamber of Construction, noted that the Procrear project is approximately 40% complete and is being sustained through provincial funds due to difficulties in receiving national transfers.

Both sector leaders, Garber and UOCRA's David Acosta, emphasized the need to regularize the flow of national funds to ensure the continuity of strategic infrastructure projects and to prevent job losses in the construction sector.
