Hermosillo launches Juventud Solar 2026 energy program

The Municipal Agency of Energy and Climate Change, in coordination with the Hermosillo Youth Institute, has launched the ‘Juventud Solar 2026’ call for applications. The program aims to empower young people aged 17 to 31 by providing training in the practical management of sustainable energy projects and soft skills.

Supported by funding from the European Union and in alliance with several organizations including PADF and CEUNO University, the initiative offers 100 percent scholarships to 30 selected participants. Those who complete the training will receive an official certification endorsed by the Secretariat of Public Education. The selection process will prioritize gender parity and citizen inclusion.
