Hermosillo Municipal Nursery distributes 150 native trees

The Hermosillo Municipal Nursery held a distribution event where approximately 150 native trees and plants were given to residents. The initiative aims to promote local planting and increase shade coverage within the city.

Out of an available stock of roughly 350 specimens, species such as tabachín, bagote, palo verde, mezquite, muicley, and palo fierro were made available to the public. The event allowed for the distribution of one tree per person until supplies were exhausted. Additionally, the nursery accepted recyclable materials, including PET, cardboard, and aluminum, during the session.
