Hermosillo offers municipal tax discounts and zero surcharges

The Hermosillo Municipal Treasury is hosting a discount event at Soriana Luis Encinas from August 20 to August 22, 2026. Taxpayers can settle debts regarding property taxes, traffic fines, and administrative fines with zero surcharges. Additionally, Agua de Hermosillo will be present on August 21 and 22 to offer service benefits.

In a separate initiative, the “Dando y Dando 2026” campaign, organized by the Municipal Treasury and DIF Hermosillo, offers significant tax relief in exchange for donations of new school supplies. This program, which runs until August 31, provides a 100% discount on surcharges and fines for property tax arrears, as well as a 50% discount on the base amount and 100% on surcharges for traffic and administrative fines. The collected supplies will be distributed to vulnerable students and families by DIF Hermosillo.
