Investigators are working under the hypothesis that the aggression was a conflict between two criminal groups involved in drug trafficking. This theory stems from the fact that some participants in the scheduled event had publicly promoted activities associated with drug consumption. Authorities clarified that there is no evidence suggesting the attack was related to extortion or 'cobro de piso,' and they noted that the safety of attendees for the following day's event was not at risk.
