Hernandarias authorities investigate alleged sexual abuse of a minor

Authorities in Hernandarias, Paraguay, are investigating the alleged sexual abuse of a 13-year-old boy. The victim, who reportedly struggles with addiction and lacks schooling, was taken to a district hospital by his mother after experiencing pain and bleeding.

Medical examinations confirmed injuries, leading the attending pediatrician to notify the Public Ministry. The minor identified a 25-year-old neighbor as the alleged perpetrator, claiming the abuse occurred months ago at a relative's home. The suspect has since turned himself in to local police, where he denied the accusations.
