Herne man detained for attempted murder

A 42-year-old man from Herne has been placed in investigative detention following an attempted murder. According to the Bochum Public Prosecutor's Office and police, the suspect allegedly attacked and seriously injured a 40-year-old acquaintance with a knife.

The motive is believed to be personal differences. Criminal police investigations are ongoing.
