Hernán Edwards releases debut solo album ‘Sparks of Light’

Hernán Edwards, the original guitarist of the influential 1990s Chilean rock band Los Ex, has released his first solo album titled ‘Sparks of Light’. The project, released under his solo moniker H. Edwards, features eight tracks that move toward an introspective, singer-songwriter style.

Recorded in Santiago with post-production involving Spain and the United States, the album is primarily acoustic but incorporates psychedelic elements through analog synthesizers. Edwards, who also leads the band Los Borne, describes the work as a personal logbook focused on resilience, affection, and finding meaning through difficult times.
