Hernán Medford defends Saprissa's winning streak against critics

Saprissa coach Hernán Medford has expressed frustration regarding critics who appear to minimize the team's recent successes. Following a six-match winning streak spanning the national championship and the Copa Centroamericana, Medford addressed claims that the team has only faced easy opponents, or ‘pastelitos’.

Medford defended the achievements of his players, stating that critics are devaluing the victories and the opponents themselves, including teams like Puntarenas, Pérez Zeledón, and San Carlos. He emphasized that he views all rivals with equal respect and rejects the notion that points were easily obtained or gifted.

Saprissa currently holds a winning streak and a leadership position heading into a match against Club Sport Cartaginés.
