Hero MotoCorp reports 23% revenue growth in Q2 FY’27

Hero MotoCorp Limited, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, reported a 23% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue for the second quarter of FY’27, reaching INR 14,971 crore. Profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter grew by 41% to INR 1,861 crore.

The company's performance was driven by a 10% volume growth in standalone operations, with 18.68 lakh motorcycles and scooters sold. Growth was supported by sustained consumer demand and improved market share in the internal combustion engine (ICE) scooter segment, which grew 47% to 2.40 lakh units.

Additionally, the VIDA electric portfolio saw a 76% year-on-year retail growth, reaching 66,531 units. Despite commodity headwinds, the company maintained an EBITDA margin of 13.4%.
