Hersfeld-Rotenburg district reports multiple traffic accidents and hit-and-runs

Several traffic accidents and hit-and-run incidents were reported in the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district.

In Bad Hersfeld, a 76-year-old pedestrian was injured after a driver performed an emergency brake to avoid a collision. Additionally, a 65-year-old driver fled the scene after striking a parked Mercedes Benz Viano in a parking lot, causing approximately 1,000 euros in damage. Another hit-and-run was reported at a supermarket parking lot in Neukirchen.

In Schenklengsfeld, a 74-year-old motorcyclist sustained serious injuries to his lower leg following a collision with a car driven by a 79-year-old woman. The accident resulted in approximately 7,000 euros in property damage.
