Herten opens applications for 2026 Children and Youth Culture Prize
The City of Herten has opened applications for the 2026 Children and Youth Culture Prize. The initiative aims to highlight the engagement of young people through innovative, unique, or continuous projects.
Eligible applicants include children and youths from Herten aged six to 20, as well as schools, clubs, and individual initiatives. Submissions can cover various fields, including music, theater, visual arts, literature, science, technology, and social justice topics such as integration and environmental protection.
A jury composed of children, youths, and adults will select five winning projects and one special individual award. Each recipient will receive 500 euros. The application deadline is Friday, October 9, and the award ceremony is scheduled for November 6 at the Glashaus.
