Dorsten and Recklinghausen announce upcoming traffic and municipal enforcement

Authorities in Dorsten and Recklinghausen have announced a series of enforcement actions scheduled for the week of August 17, 2026.

In Dorsten, mobile speed camera units will be active on Am Stuvenberg, Halterner Straße, and Bückelsberg. Additionally, the Municipal Regulatory Service (KOD) will conduct patrols in the Rhade and Feldmark districts to enforce ordinances regarding dog ownership, specifically targeting illegal waste disposal and the presence of dogs on playgrounds. Fines for dog-related violations range from 25 to 300 euros.

In the city of Recklinghausen, mobile speed enforcement is planned across various streets throughout the week, including Bergknappenstraße, Bruchweg, and many others, as part of a transparent communication initiative regarding traffic safety. While the district of Recklinghausen will not conduct mobile speed checks within Dorsten this week, stationary speed measurements remain active on Lippramsdorfer Straße in Lembeck.
