Herten postpones Children and Youth Culture Prize ceremony

The Herten Culture Office has rescheduled the award ceremony for the Herten Children and Youth Culture Prize. Originally planned for November 6, 2026, the event will now take place on Friday, February 19, 2027, at the Glashaus.

In conjunction with the ceremony postponement, the application deadline for projects has been extended to December 31, 2026. This extension was granted at the request of several project groups to allow ongoing initiatives to conclude by the end of the year so they may be eligible for consideration.

The prize aims to recognize young people who implement cultural projects, social engagements, or local initiatives, as well as the adults who support them. Existing applications remain valid and do not require resubmission.
