Hertha BSC and Fredi Bobic reach settlement in multi-million euro dispute
Hertha BSC and former managing director Fredi Bobic have reached a settlement to end a legal dispute lasting more than three years. The parties submitted a coordinated settlement text to the Berlin Regional Court and requested a formal judicial determination of the agreement.
The conflict originated from Bobic’s dismissal in 2023. Following a previous court ruling in September 2025, Hertha was ordered to pay Bobic 3.35 million euros gross, plus interest and legal costs. While the club had previously filed an appeal against that ruling, it has now withdrawn the appeal to facilitate the settlement.
