Hesburger and Proventia Group report positive business developments

Hesburger reported that its VEKE vegetarian product line sold over two million hamburgers within an 11-month period between September 1, 2025, and July 31, 2026. The VEKE cheese veggie burger was the most popular item, with 931,728 units sold. The company maintains a pricing policy where vegetarian options are intentionally priced lower than their meat counterparts to encourage consumer adoption.

Separately, Proventia Group Oyj released its interim report for the first half of 2026, showing strong growth in both revenue and profitability. For the period of January–June 2026, group revenue rose 17.4% year-on-year to 28.8 million euros. Operating profit for the same period reached 4.0 million euros, up from 3.4 million euros in the previous year. CEO Jari Lotvonen attributed the growth to new product mass production and favorable conditions in the mining industry.
