Hesburger introduces Mini meals, cuts prices and ends children's side items
On 4 August 2024, Finnish fast‑food chain Hesburger announced a menu overhaul. The chain will remove the ancillary products that were part of its former “Children’s Meal” and replace them with new “Mini meals”. The Mini meals will consist of three burger options – meat, chicken and a plant‑based VEGE version – each served with regular‑size fries and a 0.25‑litre sugar‑free soft drink. The meat and VEGE versions can also be ordered with a gluten‑free bun at no extra charge.
At the same time Hesburger will lower the prices of several finger‑food items. A “Minipehmytin” topping can be added to any Mini meal for €0.95, while the regular price of the topping is reduced to €1.50. Marketing manager Pauliina Fredriksson said the changes aim to give families a clear, consistent choice for smaller appetites and reflect customer feedback that side items were less important than the overall dining experience.
