Hessian and YHWH Release Split EP “Rapture and Perversion”

Greek label Wormholedeath has issued the split EP “Rapture and Perversion,” a collaboration between the black‑metal projects Hessian and YHWH. The release unites two uncompromising visions of occult black metal, delivering crushing riffs and ritualistic atmospheres.

Hessian, led by prolific musician Laremy Wade, marks a new phase with Wade handling both guitar and vocal duties while Imperious Noctem returns on drums. Since its 2025 self‑titled album, Hessian has featured a rotating roster of guest artists. YHWH, a Belgian‑Thai pair formed in 2024 by siblings Schem HaMephorash and C. Bones, contributes its own atmospheric intensity to the split.

Both bands had planned the collaboration for nearly a year, postponing it to focus on other releases. The EP now showcases their combined strengths and is available for streaming via the label’s channels.
