Heureka Group revenue rises as annual losses decrease

Heureka Group reported a 1.3 percent year-on-year increase in revenue, reaching 2.2 billion CZK for the fiscal year ending March 2025. The company's loss decreased by one-fifth to 321 million CZK, though EBITDA fell by 3 percent to 586 million CZK. Free cash flow rose by 9 percent to 310 million CZK.

CEO David Chmelař attributed the reported loss to previous investments and international expansion, noting that no current market is loss-making. The loss also includes write-offs from historical acquisitions. The company has been investing in the Romanian market and artificial intelligence development.

Additionally, the group was involved in a legal dispute with Google. A Prague court recently awarded Heureka 250 million CZK in damages, alleging unlawful market exclusion, though Google may appeal the verdict.
