Hey! Say! JUMP song selected for drama ‘Hadakanboutachi’
The Japanese music group Hey! Say! JUMP has announced that their new song, ‘Saikaiai Lie Kitai Shite Cry’, will serve as an insert song for the upcoming TV Asahi drama ‘Hadakanboutachi’. The track, which blends modern J-pop with city pop elements, was written specifically for the series.
The drama, which premieres on October 3, stars Genta Matsuda of Travis Japan and is based on the novel by Kaori Ekuni. Hey! Say! JUMP member Yuya Takaki will also appear in the production, playing the character Taku Ishiba, the fiancé of the character played by Rosa Kato.
‘Saikaiai Lie Kitai Shite Cry’ is set to be included in the group’s 13th original album, ‘Juliet’, which is scheduled for release on November 11. This album marks the first time that members Yuya Takaki and Kei Inoo will serve as supervisors for a Hey! Say! JUMP project.
