Hezbollah and IRGC claim strategic shifts following Al-Aqsa Flood anniversary

Hezbollah and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have issued statements marking the third anniversary of the ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ operation, asserting that the event has fundamentally altered regional strategic equations in favor of the ‘Resistance Axis.’

Hezbollah stated that while Israel has achieved certain ‘tactical successes,’ these have not translated into stable strategic gains. The group emphasized that the operation brought the Palestinian cause back to the forefront of global attention, disrupting regional normalization efforts and sparking widespread international protests. Hezbollah noted that despite the destruction in Gaza, Israel has failed to eliminate Hamas or secure a lasting political or military resolution.

The IRGC described the operation as a ‘future-making incident’ that shattered the myth of Israeli military invincibility. The statement claimed that the coordination between various fronts—including Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, and Iran—has created a strategic reality that the United States and Israel cannot ignore. The IRGC further asserted that recent confrontations have demonstrated that the era of making threats without facing significant costs has ended.
