Hezbollah commemorates martyrs in Nabatieh

During a Hezbollah commemoration ceremony in Nabatieh honoring the martyrs of Zoutar al-Sharqiya, former minister Mustafa Bayram asserted that the resistance will play a central role in any future political resolution.

Bayram characterized the Zionist project as an “expansionist, criminal enterprise” and argued that the resistance serves as the primary obstacle to its ambitions. He stated that the steadfastness of the resistance and Iran has thwarted key objectives of the hostile project.

Regarding potential negotiations, Bayram declared several rights as non-negotiable, including a comprehensive and total withdrawal, the release of prisoners, the dignified return of populations to their villages, and reconstruction efforts. He also criticized Lebanese authorities, suggesting that negotiating with the enemy under certain conditions could grant legitimacy to those seeking to achieve through diplomacy what they failed to achieve through war.
