Qassem announced that the Hezbollah Shura Council has designated the current political and military phase as 'Inna ala al-Ahd' (We are on the Covenant). He asserted that the resistance successfully prevented Israeli forces, which he estimated at up to 90,000 personnel, from achieving their strategic goals.

On the political front, Qassem criticized the Lebanese government, accusing the political class of making concessions through direct negotiations.
