Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem rejects Framework Agreement
Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem has issued a sharp condemnation of the Lebanese government and the so-called ‘Framework Agreement,’ labeling it a series of Israeli dictates rather than a legitimate deal. He also referenced the 2024 agreement, which was intended to secure an Israeli withdrawal and a halt to violations in exchange for removing armed presence south of the Litani River, though he asserted that Israel has failed to adhere to its terms. Qassem concluded by emphasizing that Hezbollah remains committed to its resistance options and will not accept surrender or foreign guardianship.
