Heze police investigate woman for vandalism and fraudulent license plates

A woman in Heze, Shandong province, is under investigation after using a vehicle with mismatched license plates to vandalize a fruit stall. The incident occurred on the morning of August 23.

According to CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts, a woman in her 50s drove a white private car to a fruit stall to complain about the quality of watermelons she had purchased. When the vendor refused her request for a refund, the woman became angry and threw several watermelons at the stall, destroying them.

During the confrontation, witnesses noticed that the license plates on the front and rear of the vehicle did not match. After being identified, the woman reportedly removed the front license plate and fled the scene. The Heze Public Security Bureau Traffic Management Detachment and the Nancheng Police Station have confirmed that the woman has been taken into custody for investigation regarding property damage and the suspected use of fraudulent license plates.
