HGI to launch 1,139 billion VND IPO for agricultural expansion

Hoang Anh Gia Lai International Investment JSC (HGI), a subsidiary of the Hoang Anh Gia Lai Group, has officially received approval to launch its initial public offering (IPO). The company plans to issue 18.8 million shares at a price of 60,600 VND per share, aiming for a total offering value of approximately 1,139 billion VND.

OCBS Securities is serving as the comprehensive advisor and main distribution agent for the transaction. The subscription period for investors is scheduled from August 18 to September 7, 2026, with expected stock trading on the UPCoM market in the second half of 2026.

HGI manages nearly 8,000 hectares of agricultural land in Laos, focusing on products such as bananas, durian, coffee, macadamia, and mulberry. Bananas currently account for 75% of the company's total revenue. The company intends to use the IPO proceeds to fund agricultural supplies and fertilizers to expand production capacity, as well as to restructure its financial position and settle debts.
