H'Hen Niê celebrates daughter's first birthday in Đắk Lắk

Miss Universe Vietnam 2017, H'Hen Niê, and her husband, photographer Tuấn Khôi, recently celebrated the first birthday of their daughter, Niê Nguyễn Mộc Đan (nicknamed Harley), in Đắk Lắk.

The event was held at the family's land in the highland province, following traditional customs. To mark the occasion, H'Hen Niê organized a bamboo palanquin procession for her daughter to meet her maternal relatives, noting that the child had rarely visited her ancestral home since birth. The celebration included 81 banquet tables to accommodate hundreds of guests, including family, neighbors from the village, and friends from Ho Chi Minh City.

Many attendees wore traditional Ê-đê clothing to honor the cultural heritage. H'Hen Niê noted that despite her concerns the child might be frightened by the large crowd, Harley appeared confident and smiled throughout the festivities. The celebration served as a meaningful gathering for both sides of the family to reconnect.
