Simon Werner proposes to partner on ‘Die Höhle der Löwen’

During a filming of the German business show ‘Die Höhle der Löwen’, entrepreneur Simon Werner surprised his long-term partner, Susan Schmidt, with a marriage proposal.

Werner and Schmidt, who represent the company Ajambow, had just completed a pitch for their water-filled fitness device. Despite not securing a business deal from the investors, Werner addressed the panel to state that after 33 years together, he had one project left to complete. He then knelt to propose to Schmidt, who accepted.

The investors, including Carsten Maschmeyer and Judith Williams, reacted with enthusiasm to the emotional moment. Maschmeyer remarked that the engagement was ‘an even better deal for the rest of your life.’
