Hi-Lex Italy announces employee bonuses and temporary furlough
Hi-Lex Italy held a meeting with Fiom, Fim, and Uilm trade unions in Chiavari to discuss business performance and production outlooks. The company confirmed it met its business objectives for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026.
As a result of these achievements, the company will pay a performance bonus of approximately 300 euros per employee. However, Hi-Lex Italy also announced it must initiate redundancy fund (cassa integrazione) procedures due to a temporary decline in orders. This downturn is attributed to procurement difficulties faced by several major European clients. The reduction in workload is projected to continue until January 2027.
