Hi3D to launch V3.0 AI 3D model generator with increased resolution

Hi3D has announced the launch of its V3.0 AI 3D model generator, scheduled for release on August 19, 2026. The update introduces a significant increase in precision, reaching a voxel resolution of 2048³, up from the 1536³ resolution found in version 1.0.

The new version focuses on three primary areas: higher voxel resolution, improved structural recognition, and enhanced texture resolution, which now reaches up to 8K. These improvements are intended to preserve fine details such as mechanical transitions, logos, and thin walls, while better handling overlapping structures from multiple angles.

For users in 3D printing, film, and game design, the platform includes new specialized tools. These include an automatic model splitting feature for printing, multicolor 3D printing preparation, and an auto-plating function to arrange parts on a print bed. To allow for evaluation, Hi3D will offer 48 hours of free full access to the V3.0 model starting August 19, 2026.
