Hibernian defeat Hearts to reach Premier Sports Cup final

Hibernian secured a place in the Premier Sports Cup final following a 2-1 victory over Edinburgh rivals Hearts at Hampden Park. The win marks the first victory for new manager Marink Reedijk.

Hearts took an early lead in the fourth minute when Claudio Braga converted a corner. Hibernian responded in the 19th minute through Martin Boyle, who finished after receiving a pass from Owen Elding. Jamie McGrath, an Irish international, scored the winning goal shortly before half-time to complete the comeback.

The result ends Hearts' streak of four consecutive wins against Hibernian at Hampden Park. Hibernian will face Rangers in the final scheduled for December 13.
