HiBob secures $166 million investment led by Salesforce
HiBob, a people management platform, has secured a $166 million investment led by Salesforce with participation from Farallon. The company aims to evolve from a traditional HR platform into an organizational intelligence layer designed to support AI-powered businesses.
HiBob's strategy focuses on providing the necessary workforce context—such as roles, skills, and reporting structures—required for AI agents to function effectively within an organization. CEO and co-founder Ronni Zehavi stated that the investment validates the belief that AI is changing the very architecture of organizations, necessitating a redesign of how people and AI agents collaborate.
The funding will also support deeper integrations, specifically with Slack. Building on their existing partnership, HiBob intends to make employee and team data accessible directly within Slack workflows to assist in decision-making processes. HiBob currently serves over 5,500 customers globally, with its platform used by organizations in more than 170 countries.
