HiBot AI Audits Reveal Brand Presence on Generative AI Platforms
HiBot has launched a human‑run AI visibility audit service that measures how generative AI engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google’s AI‑search present a brand. The audit evaluates six factors – appearance, nomination, showdown, worth, expertise and reputation – and provides an AI Visibility Score to help companies understand and improve the way AI answers describe them.
In a related move, Polaroid has rolled out a global billboard campaign in New York, London and South Korea urging people to “go jump in some water before the data centres drink it all up.” The ads highlight the limits of AI‑generated experiences and promote human‑driven creativity, using the environmental impact of data centres as a backdrop.
Both initiatives underscore growing concerns that AI‑generated content can shape consumer perception, affect purchasing decisions, and obscure brand messaging, prompting marketers to seek new ways to monitor and counteract AI influence.
