HID introduces updates to accelerate mobile access adoption

HID has announced enhancements to its access control systems designed to accelerate the adoption of mobile access credentials. The updates allow organizations to transition to digital identity-based management by leveraging existing infrastructure, such as HID Signo and iCLASS SE readers, without the need for hardware replacement, firmware updates, or extensive onsite maintenance.

Key features of the update include the ability for existing Seos keys to work through the HID Mobile Access App and expanded support for Samsung Wallet, which allows users to store credentials in a familiar digital wallet platform. Additionally, the HID Linq Mobile tool enables administrators to configure and manage compatible readers directly from a smartphone using Bluetooth Low Energy and NFC, reducing the need for manual onsite work.
