HID upgrades FARGO DTC ID card printer line

HID has announced enhancements to its FARGO DTC ID card printer line, specifically targeting the DTC1250e, DTC4500e, and DTC1500 models. The upgrades are designed to improve print quality, strengthen security, and simplify the issuance process for various sectors, including healthcare, education, and government.

The updated printers feature newer, faster hardware and electronics platforms to support high-volume credential issuance with fewer interruptions. Additionally, the printers now support high-capacity ribbons to increase productivity and reduce reload frequency. To improve visual quality, the devices offer 300 x 600 dpi resolution, an enhanced color profile, and adjustable K-panel printing for sharper text and logos.
