Hidalgo Education Secretary promotes family welfare in Mixquiahuala

Natividad Castrejón Valdez, the Secretary of Public Education for Hidalgo, delivered a keynote lecture titled “The role of parents in the formation of children” to families from public schools in Mixquiahuala and surrounding municipalities. The initiative aims to strengthen the collaboration between families and educational institutions to support student development.

Castrejón Valdez noted that the state administration, under Governor Julio Menchaca Salazar, established the General Directorate of Socio-emotional and Educational Accompaniment to address the socio-emotional consequences of the pandemic. This department provides comprehensive care, conferences, and support tools to foster mental health and emotional competencies in children from an early school age.

The lecture emphasized the importance of family coexistence, focusing on themes such as expressing affection, building trust, setting firm yet loving boundaries, and practicing conscious discipline to promote the integral well-being of students.
