Hidalgo government invests >4 million pesos in agricultural aid and fish fry donation

The Secretariat of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hidalgo (Saderh), led by Napoleón González Pérez, allocated 4,091,827 pesos to strengthen the agricultural and aquaculture sectors in the state. The funding benefits 550 producers in Acaxochitlán, Agua Blanca de Iturbide, Metepec and Cuautepec de Hinojosa.

Support includes maize, oat and tomato seeds; maguey cuttings; dual‑purpose birds; and the donation of 800,000 fish fry—500,000 carp and 300,000 tilapia—to boost local fish production and food security. The initiative follows the development agenda of Governor Julio Menchaca and aims to improve productivity, sustainability and income for rural families.
