Hidalgo government invests in artisan support and Hidarte store

The government of Hidalgo is implementing various initiatives to support the state's artisan community and boost economic development. So far this year, more than 7,000 artisans across different sectors have received support through the Secretariat of Well-being and Social Inclusion (Sebiso).

As part of these efforts, 15.6 million pesos will be invested to remodel the Hidarte store located on Avenida Juárez in Pachuca. This facility serves as a key commercial point where artisans can exhibit and sell their creations at their own set prices without incurring space costs.

Over the past four years, the Subsecretariat of Social Participation and Artisan Promotion has allocated more than 44 million pesos to benefit approximately 4,200 artisans. Additionally, over 3,200 individuals have received assistance through training, advisory services, and dedicated sales spaces. The 'Bienestar de Personas Artesanas' program provides annual grants of up to 10,000 pesos to help with workshop equipment, raw materials, and professional training.
